Liraglutide Dosage Requirements

The starting dose of liraglutide is 0.6 mg per day. After at least 1 week, the dose should be increased to 1.2 mg. It is expected that some patients will benefit when the dose is increased from 1.2 mg to 1.8 mg. According to the clinical response, in order to further improve the hypoglycemic effect, it will be possible after at least one week.

The dose was increased to 1.8 mg. The recommended daily dose does not exceed 1.8 mg.

This product can be used in combination therapy with metformin without changing the dose of metformin.

This product can be used for combined treatment with sulfonylureas. When this product is used in combination with sulfonylureas, you should consider reducing the dose of sulfonylureas to reduce the risk of hypoglycemia (see precautions).

When adjusting the dosage of this product, self-monitoring of blood glucose is not necessary. However, when this product is combined with sulfonylureas to adjust the dose of sulfonylureas, self-monitoring of blood glucose may be required.
